This is the second of two very special auctions – each for a set of two prints by the late Max Flatow – renowned local architect and artist. The pieces are posters which Mr. Flatow’s firm – FMSM – produced as their annual holiday card. You are bidding on the pieces shown: “Bluewater Lake” and “Sailboats”. Each piece is 18″ x 45″ and is suitable for framing. Valued at $50/set

Max’s art career started at a very young age. When he was a child during the depression he would make money by selling sketches of people he met on the street for 1 penny. He would buy a box of crayons for 5 cents and use scrap paper. His loved watercolors and painted up to the day he could no longer hold a brush.
